My Morphe Binge!

So recently I headed over to beautybay with the hope of finding a new eyeshadow palette to add to the collection. I found myself eyeing up the Morphe palettes and was particularly drawn to the taupe pallete. At just under £20 for 35 shadows, how could I resist? The colours looked so buttery and pigmented and the mix of mattes and glittery shadows was great.

I used this opportunity to grab myself a new blending brush, I'd been using the Real Techniques duo-fibre eye brush, but I was growing tired of it. Morphe brushes had been doing the rounds with many of my favourite youtubers so I jumped on the band wagon and picked up the Morphe M505 for around £5.

The delivery confused me as well as disappointed me; Saturday, Sunday and Monday are non-delivery days which only leaves a 4 day window. Although I qualified for free delivery, I chose the £2.50 next day delivery. It did arrive fast and around 11 am which was great as I started work at 1pm! The packaging was great, all cardboard so it was easy to recycle and left no waste.

Upon opening the palette I was instantly in the love, pictures just don't do the colours justice. I swatched a few of the shadows on my arm and was surprised by how pigmented and stunning they are! The colour pay off on the eye is great, although the amount of fall out from the more glittery shadows does let it down a bit. They blend great and you can create complete eye looks from the one palette which is handy when travelling.

Normally when buying an eyeshadow palette with a large amount of colours, I expect the pans themselves to be slightly smaller but the Morphe palette was all "full-sized" pans which was so great to see! This does make the size of the palette quite large though.

The brush came in a small clear plastic packet which i thought was a bit of a let down considering the clean and attractive packaging of the palette. It felt sturdy and good quality, however, the bristles felt somewhat rough. On the eye, it's not the softest but does the job well. I wouldn't recommend if you have super sensitive eyes.

Anyway, that was just my opinion, I'm really happy with product and will definitely been trying more products from Morphe!

Thank youu!
